Fall is Fun

Yikes, almost two months since my last post! I guess I will recap with what pictures I have.

The other day I found this little frog in our house. I probably never would have noticed him, but I had just picked up everything off the floor finished vacuuming, left the room, came back, and saw what could have been one of David's many rocks he brings in from outside. I looked closely, though, and this rock was moving. We hear them all the time, there is a little pond not to far from our back door, so I guess it was about time one came to visit. I took him outside and then let David watch him hop around. He wasn't too sure what to think at first, but I had to be careful that David didn't step on the frog or poke him once he got over being hesitant.

This is David's Halloween costume. My Aunt Val helped me make it. It is so big on him that most likely he will be able to wear it next year. David and I went to our church's Trunk-or-Treat (Ryan was hunting) and all David wanted to do was run around with the other crazy kids during dinner. (No candy this year...no one in our family needs it so we will hold off until David wants to do it.)

Last year about this time I was lamenting how everyone seemed to be doing so many crafty things, I wanted to do crafty things, would I ever have time again to do things like that...wo is me type stuff. Well, things have evened out a bit, David can entertain himself a little better, I've learned better how to balance the many roles of mom/wife, and have found myself a little craft time. I crocheted a couple animals for David, a snowman, and have started to learn how to knit by making washcloths. I am very happy to do this type of thing now. (Someday I will have better photography skills, or at least a better camera.)

Heather, just talked to Quest so by Friday might be able to do better on Skype. Love your animals. I am not a craft type person but can knit dish cloths. :)

He is so cute in his doggy costume. That will be great if it does fit him next year, then you don't have to worry about it. That was one of the hardest things to come up with costumes every year. Good job of the animals.
