Everyone Having Fun

Here are several pictures of the fun David has been up to. He is getting really good at doing the things he would like to. In this picture David was in the process of taking everything out of the bottom cupboard (where I keep things that won't break). As his arms are not long enough to reach the back he had to get inside the cupboard.

He is now old enough to start helping around the house. Here he is spinning the lettuce for our dinner.

Daddy made some time to give Mom a break and this is one of the fun things David and Dad did together. Of course they had to come out of the bedroom to show me and to get me to take a picture.

I went out with David to get the mail. I put him on the ground to walk around a bit and I don't think he even took a step, he just fell flat on his face in a puddle. (Just mud, no blood.)

Another fun time with Daddy in a fort/tunnel that David enjoyed running through.

Today our ward is having a fancy dinner for the adults. I am on the activities committee and get to run over to the church in thirty minutes to help setup. This is my version of a fancy dessert. Not much, but pretty good for me. Ryan is the fancy cook around here, but he has two finals on Monday so I got to make it all by myself. (Although he did clean the kitchen before I got up this morning so I wouldn't have to before baking!) It is a sour cream chocolate cake with chocolate/mint frosting covered in mint leaves. Ooh, aah.

Love that picture of David in the cupboard, reminds me of Greg. To bad we didn't have this technology when our kids were babies. I do remember that all kids are happy with a cardboard box to play with.
Your cake looks great! Great idea the ment leaves around the sides.
